In accordance with the Law number
78-17 dated 6th January 1978 made by the Commission
Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés
(CNIL), relating to information processing, computer
files and individuals’ rights (clause 36), the
owner of access rights can insist that information
concerning him or her that is incorrect, incomplete,
out-of-date or liable to misinterpretation or whose
collection, use, communication or retention is forbidden,
be corrected, completed, clarified, or updated”.
